Pathways in Georgia is seeking a Certified Peer Specialist to support individuals in their recovery journey. The role emphasizes using lived experience to promote hope, empowerment, and self-determination within communities served.

The CPS will assist in building mutual support groups, developing recovery goals, and creating self-directed recovery tools, with a focus on personal responsibility and empowerment. Full-time, 8-hour shifts with comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Certified Peer Specialist
• Strong reading, comprehension, and written communication skills
• Experience with leadership, advocacy, or governance preferred
• Must identify as a person living with a mental health condition and be willing to use lived recovery experience to support others in their recovery
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License and clean MVR
• Clean Criminal Background Check (no conviction or credible evidence of abuse, neglect, or sexual exploitation)
