Qualifications

• Six years of supervision/management experience required.
• Three of six years must be in records management, dependency discovery, or public disclosure.
• Bachelor’s degree with five years in two or more areas like research, policy analysis, business operations, records management, dependency discovery, or public disclosure.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and grow and to meet others’ needs.
• Demonstrated supervisor experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the Records Supervisors within the Regional Dependency Discovery Unit.
• Provide reliable direction to the units and ensure timeliness of discovery requests.
• Ensure compliance with Civil Rule, WAC, RCW and regional redaction processes.
• Develop goals with employees and provide annual feedback.
• Mentor and train new staff in discovery practices and QA measures.
• Lead in records management and dependency discovery for DCYF Region 3.
• Serve as primary contact for regional staff, IT, and Office of the Attorney General.
• Provide region-wide training on discovery quality assurance and consultation on tools.
