Job summary

Fresno County invites applications for the Recording Technician I position within the Assessor-Recorder's Office. Responsibilities include filing, recording, indexing documents, and issuing vital records, with a requirement of two years' related full-time experience or substituted coursework.

Qualifications

• Two years of full-time paid work experience involving examination and processing of real property documents or vital records.
• Substitution: coursework acceptable; 30 semester units equal one year of experience.
• Completion of sixty semester units of coursework meets the minimum qualification.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, research, process, and determine the recordability of various documents according to state laws and codes.
• File, record, index real property and other legal documents and instruments, and issue vital records.
