Job summary

Onity is seeking a mortgage servicing professional in Florida to analyze promissory note endorsements, resolve documentation issues, and coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Ideal candidates bring one year of mortgage servicing experience, knowledge of promissory notes and related documents, and strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. The role requires teamwork and proficiency in Word & Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process promissory notes by reviewing chain of title, executing internal allonges or requesting from outside third parties, and shipping to proper party.
• Follow up on pending documents as needed.
• Ship original documents to Onity firms or vendors as requested.
• Respond to internal and external requests via team mailboxes.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Cross-train to assist with additional functions during peak periods or deadlines.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Processes promissory notes by reviewing chain of title, executing internal allonges (extensions) or requesting from outside third parties, and shipping to proper party when requested.
• Follows up as needed for pending documents.
• Ship original documents to Onity firms or vendors as requested.
• Responds to internal and external requests received via the team mailboxes.
• Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Cross trains to assist with additional job functions in the division during periods of peak volumes or deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications

• One-year mortgage servicing or related experience
• Working knowledge of the Promissory Note and other mortgage documents Preferred.
• Strong communication skills
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must have good decision-making skills and ability to research & show initiative in solving problems
• Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple & changing priorities
• Must have ability to work in and promote a team environment
• PC Experience - Microsoft Word & Excel required
• Effective time management to balance day to day tasks against short and long-term project deliverables
• Prior knowledge of residential mortgage servicing, related loan documents and Agency guidelines.
