Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Record Center Specialist in Jessup, MD to support the Logistics and Records Management teams. The role requires stamina and accuracy for processing orders, moving boxes, and using material handling equipment.

Typical shift is 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM. The position offers a physically demanding environment with a focus on safety, inventory tracking, and orderly storage of records and materials.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, kneel, squat, reach, and bend for extended periods.
• Physical strength to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance.
• Comfort working on uneven surfaces and operating manual handling equipment.
• Basic reading and writing skills in English.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment with safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Manually lift, carry, and load storage boxes ranging from 10 to over 100 pounds.
• Use hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids to transport items safely.
• Read labels, operate scanners, and track inventory using proprietary computer systems.
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets, and load boxes onto trucks manually or with equipment.
