Candidates should be able to lift up to 100 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow safety guidelines. Normal schedule is five days a week, nine hours daily, with a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Able to lift and carry boxes up to 100 lbs without assistance.
• Experience operating hand carts and pallet jacks.
• Proficient reading and writing English.
• Protective footwear meeting safety standards required.

Responsibilities

• Frequently kneel, squat, reach, and bend forward throughout shifts.
• Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes weighing from 24lbs to over 100lbs.
• Manually move boxes and use hand carts for transportation.
• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Lift, carry, and arrange boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.
• Load and safely operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
• Read labels and process incoming and outgoing orders using the proprietary computer system.
• Operate a handheld scanner and climb ladders safely.
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.
