Job summary

United Water Restoration Group in Jacksonville is seeking a Reconstruction Project Manager / Estimator to own restoration projects from inspection through final payment. You will scope repairs, estimate costs, close new business, and manage quality and profitability while keeping homeowners, adjusters, and subcontractors informed.

The role requires experience in reconstruction PM/estimating, familiarity with insurance claims, and comfort negotiating with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in reconstruction PM and/or estimating.
• Familiarity with insurance claims and adjusters.
• Proficiency with Xactimate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial inspections and scope repairs.
• Keep clear communication with prospects throughout the sales process.
• Aim for 50% closing rate on new leads.
• Maintain KPIs aligned with standards.
• Maintain project quality while targeting 40% gross margin.
• Negotiate with adjusters, homeowners, subcontractors.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction from start to finish.
• Attend weekly jobs-in-progress meetings.
• Support collections to reach 45 days payment or better.

Reconstruction Project Manager / Estimator

When disaster strikes a home or business, we restore the property and help the people living or working there get back on their feet. We’re growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Reconstruction Project Manager / Estimator to join our team.

The Role

You’ll own reconstruction projects from the first inspection to final payment. You’ll scope and estimate repairs, close new business, manage quality and profitability, and keep homeowners, adjusters, and subcontractors informed along the way. If you know the water damage industry, can negotiate well, and like seeing a project through from start to finish, this role fits you.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial inspections and scope repairs
• Keep clear, steady communication with prospects throughout the sales process
• Achieve a closing rate of 50% on all new leads
• Keep all KPIs current and in line with company, TPA, and strategic partner standards and procedures
• Maintain project quality while hitting a 40% gross profit margin
• Negotiate with adjusters, homeowners, subcontractors, and other involved parties
• Keep customer satisfaction high from start to finish
• Attend weekly jobs-in-progress meetings
• Help with collections to reach an average payment-in-full of 45 days or better

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in reconstruction project management and/or estimating, preferably in water, fire, or mold restoration
• Proficiency with Xactimate (preferred)
• Familiarity with insurance claims, adjusters, and TPA programs
