Job summary

RestorePro Reconstruction is seeking a Reconstruction Project Manager to join our Wilmington, NC team. This role oversees the finances, profitability and day-to-day reconstruction activities from inception through completion, and maintains client relationships to ensure high-quality results.

Some travel is required. The position reports to the leadership team and requires a driver’s license, background check, and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Experience in reconstruction or restoration projects is preferred.
• Strong budgeting and client-management skills.
• Ability to review estimates and set expectations with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction meetings with clients.
• Review estimates with clients and obtain contract authorization.
• Create budgets for materials and subcontractors.
• Establish draw schedules as needed.
• Generate work orders for subcontractors with budgets.
• Oversee quality and production of the project.
• Prepare invoices and project documentation.

Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

RestorePro Reconstruction is seeking a Reconstruction Project Manager to join our Wilmington, NC team.

This position oversees the finances, profitability and the day-to-day construction put back of projects from inception through completion and has primary responsibility for managing client expectations. Overseeing the project relationships with our clients, providing thoughtful and pragmatic leadership. Managers also foster a high-performance and fulfilling team environment that drives the collaboration our projects thrive on to ensure that the final product is of the highest quality and exceeds client expectations. Some travel is required.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct a preconstruction meeting with the client.
• Review the estimate with the client, set expectations, and obtain Contract authorization.
• Create a budget for material vendors and hired subcontractors.
• Establish a draw schedule as appropriate.
• Create work orders from the approved Xactimate scope for each subcontractor on the job site with proper budgets.
• Manage the quality and production of the construction project.
• Generate all work & purchase orders for the execution of the job in a timely manner & up to company quality standards.
• Upon completion prepare an invoice, job documentation, and other notes to be processed in a cloud database.
• Follow up on payment(s) to ensure timely accounts receivable.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient knowledge of web-based software platforms
• Utilize phone or tablet to upload documentation of loss with photographs and written description
• Microsoft Excel and Outlook are required
• Xactimate heavily preferred.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Driver's License and pass a MVR check
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Experience in the water and fire restoration industry is a plus, but not required
• IICRC Certifications Preferred
• This position involves both office and fieldwork.
• The work environment may include construction sites, requiring the ability to navigate various job site conditions and adhere to safety protocols.
• Occasional travel may be necessary to oversee multiple projects or attend client meetings.
• Flexibility and adaptability are essential as tasks may vary depending on project stages and client needs.
• Collaboration with a team and direct communication with clients and subcontractors will be an essential part of the role.
