Job summary

PHC Restoration is seeking a Project Manager in North Carolina to lead large-loss reconstruction and commercial projects from scope to completion. You will guide trades, manage budgets and schedules, and serve as the client contact with a focus on urgency, quality, and clear communication.

The role demands a strong leader who can coordinate multiple moving parts, build client trust, and drive projects to successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong construction project management experience is essential.
• Experience managing reconstruction, insurance-related repairs, large-loss work, or commercial projects is preferred.
• A firm understanding of construction costs, budgeting, scope management, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination is required.
• Previous damage restoration project management experience is helpful, but broader building construction and project leadership experience may translate well.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary leader for reconstruction projects, owning the outcome from approved scope through final completion.
• Lead and direct PHC service specialists and skilled tradespeople on your projects, setting urgency, accountability, professionalism, and quality.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, guiding them through the reconstruction process with confidence and clear communication.
• Determine project scope and work with estimators, clients, and insurance adjusters to align scope, price and expectations.
• Build and manage project budgets, schedules, and critical path timelines to keep work moving and on track.
• Ensure on-site quality by inspecting work, addressing issues quickly, and upholding high standards for the finished product.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, internal team members, and material flow to keep projects on schedule.
• Collaborate with customers on change orders, upgrades, and vision-related decisions to maintain alignment.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and insurance adjusters for excellence.
• Use software for documentation, budgeting, planning, scheduling, and communication to maintain control of jobs.
• Work with a Project Coordinator for administrative support while staying accountable for leadership and results.
• Lead an on-call team rotation to serve customers with urgency and reliability.

As a Project Manager, you’ll own the successful execution of reconstruction projects from scope to final completion. What You’ll Do
