Kustom US, Inc is seeking a Reconstruction Project Director (Education) to lead complex reconstruction initiatives from scope through closeout. You will own financial performance, client satisfaction, and project outcomes while coordinating with field leadership to align execution with approved scope, schedule and budget.
The role requires expertise in estimating, change management, risk mitigation, and maintaining compliance with company standards across multiple sites.
Position Overview
The Reconstruction Project Director (PD) is responsible for the end-to-end leadership of reconstruction projects, with full accountability for financial performance, client experience, and project outcomes. The Project Director serves as the primary owner of scope, budget, margin, and client communication, ensuring reconstruction projects are delivered profitably, compliantly, and to Kustom standards. This role partners closely with Superintendents and field leadership to align execution with approved scope,
schedule, and budget while proactively managing risk, change, and stakeholder expectations.
This role operates in a combination of office and active job-site environments. The Project Director must be adaptable, organized, and comfortable leading in dynamic, fast-paced conditions with the ability to perform all office activities typically expected in an office setting, including:
Remaining seated for extended periodsEngaging in computer workLifting and carrying office supplies (up to 25 pounds)Regularly required to talk and hear while performing job dutiesFine hand manipulation skills (such as keyboarding)Exposure to general office conditions during workThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
