Job summary

Bergstrom Automotive is seeking a Reconditioning Technician in Wisconsin. You will diagnose and repair vehicles to Bergstrom standards, inspect and test new vehicles, and record findings.

You will produce flat-rate hours at 120% efficiency and explain repairs to Service Advisors in plain terms. Responsibilities include safe test drives before and after repairs and completing work within a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automotive Technology OR 1–2 years of Automotive Technician experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record required.
• ASE certifications are preferred.
• Chevrolet technician experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately diagnosing and repairing vehicles to Bergstrom standards.
• Inspecting and testing new vehicles and recording findings.
• Producing flat rate hours at 120% efficiency or better.
• Explaining diagnoses and required repairs to Service Advisors in non-technical terms.
• Safely test driving guest vehicles before and after repairs.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm.
