Job summary

Bob Moore Auto Group is seeking a Reconditioning Helper to assist in preparing vehicles for reconditioning and supporting technicians. You will ensure proper protection of vehicles, maintain a clean work area, and support safety and security protocols.

Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a dependable, team-oriented attitude. This role is on-site at our Edmond, AL location and may involve additional duties as assigned.

• Assist technician with reconditioning vehicles.

• Use personal device to support network security and site access (MFA).
• Follow safety guidelines and report accidents to a manager/supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Reconditioning Helper

Core Responsibilities

Responsibilities described in this section are fundamental to success in this position.

• Properly prepare vehicles for reconditioning
• Ensure that procedures are followed to properly protect vehicles
• Assist technician with reconditioning vehicles
• Maintain good housekeeping of work area
• Uses personal device to provide an additional layer of security for company network and site access through multi-factor authentication.
• Comply with safety guidelines and policies including handling of hazardous materials
• Must follow safety precautions specific to work area and immediately report any-and-all accidents to a manager/supervisor
• Performs additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

The requirements listed below are the minimum degrees, certifications, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of this position.

• Valid driver’s license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• Preferred High School Education or equivalent
• Previous experience preferred

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently required to lift up to 50 lbs and the employee is occasionally required to lift in excess of 100 lbs with proper assistance
• The employee will frequently be exposed to loud noises and must be able to locate and discriminate sounds in this loud environment
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision
• Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol urinalysis and be able to drive a vehicle
