Job summary

Brown's Medical Imaging is seeking an Equipment Reconditioning Specialist responsible for disassembly, cleaning, assembly and painting of reconditioned medical equipment, plus testing to OEM specifications and coordinating inbound/outbound logistics.

The role requires excellent verbal and written communication, strong technical and problem-solving skills, Windows proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules, including occasional travel and non-traditional hours.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Photochemical, electromechanical, computer and troubleshooting skills preferred.
• Must be computer literate and have excellent understanding of Windows operating systems.
• Good organizational skills needed to handle multiple tasks with varying timetables.
• Ability to apply acquired knowledge from formal training courses accurately in the field.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and a technical propensity.
• High degree of self-motivation and creativity.
• Team player that takes initiative and works well with others in all levels of the organization.
• Ability to network internally/externally to resolve technical issues.
• Able to work non-traditional work schedules involving late nights and occasional weekends.
• Travel may be required.

Working Conditions:

The job is conducted in a professional office environment and involves routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Occasional travel may be required; domestic.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting for long periods of time and standing for long periods of time.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50lbs regularly.
