Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Accounting or Finance degrees and work experience preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year accounting experience in the financial industry.
• Knowledge of General Ledger, Internal Demand Deposit Accounts, Trust House or Trust/Treasury Positions.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook; familiarity with reconciliation systems.
• Possesses professional customer service skills and communication abilities.
• Able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliation of General Ledger, IDA, Trust House and Trust/Treasury Positions.
• Monitor exception reporting and assign items to appropriate departments.
• Understand Bancorp policies and procedures; act as a subject matter expert.
• Obtain correct supporting documentation for audits.
• Perform investigation and follow-up on exceptions; resolve with appropriate personnel.
• Identify non-standard account reconcilement problems; assist in resolution.
• Maintain accurate records and build strong cross-functional relationships.
• Assume responsibility for account reconciliations.
• Understand impact of transactions within accounts and related accounts.
• Assist in converting acquired companies or system upgrades.
• Assist in developing training materials and reconciliation training.
• Adhere to defined quality standards and communication guidelines.
