Job summary

FSG Restoration Services, LLC in Tucson, AZ seeks a Recon Technician (Education) to perform repairs on residential and commercial properties following damage. You will apply drywall, finish and texture surfaces, paint interiors/exteriors, and install trims, cabinets, and flooring to a high standard.

The role requires construction experience, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, remodeling, or insurance restoration.
  • Ability to complete quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with drywall finishing, carpentry, flooring, or cabinet installation is preferred.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Reliable attendance and transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Reconstruction Technician
Department: RECON
Position Summary

The Reconstruction Technician performs residential and commercial repairs following property damage. This role requires experience in multiple construction trades, attention to detail, and the ability to complete quality work independently while providing excellent customer service.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Hang, patch, finish, and texture drywall.
  • Perform interior and exterior painting.
  • Install and repair trim, baseboards, doors, cabinets, and flooring.
  • Complete minor framing, siding, and basic plumbing fixture installations.
  • Perform punch-list items and maintain clean, organized job sites.
  • Follow company safety policies and provide professional customer service.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely perform physically demanding construction tasks throughout the workday.
Work Environment

This position primarily works in occupied residential and commercial properties performing repairs following water, fire, mold, storm, or other property damage. The work environment includes exposure to construction materials, dust, noise, and varying temperatures. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.

Opportunities are available for increased pay and advancement into lead technician and field-supervision positions based on performance, workmanship, reliability and productivity.
