Job summary

Parkway Family Auto in Tomball, TX is seeking a Service Drive Attendant to move vehicles between the service drive and service parking lot and assist the service department with routine tasks. The role supports operations by cleaning drives, ensuring vehicles are prepped for service intake, and aiding customers and technicians as needed.

The position requires a valid driver license, a clean driving record, and reliability to work 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday with some weekend

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate professionally with customers.
• Must maintain a clean driving record and safe driving habits.
• Ability to follow Parkway attendance and scheduling policies.

Responsibilities

• Keeps service drive clean.
• Wash vehicles from the service department.
• Vacuum and wipe down returned service rental vehicles; remove trash.
• Check in vehicles, place number tags and protective covers.
• Picks up keys from cashier and moves vehicles around.
• Assist service department needs as required.
• Maintain driveway cleanliness; take out trash.
• Drive safely and protect dealership property and customer belongings.
• Relate schedule changes to management per Parkway policy.

Essential Duties

• Keeps service drive clean.
• Wash vehicles from the service department.
• Upon return of Service Rental Vehicles vacuum, wipe down interior, removing any trash or personal effects left in the vehicle.
• Checks in vehicles placing number tags and protective covers in vehicle.
• Picks up keys from cashier, pulling vehicles around, greeting customers promptly and professionally.
• Assist service department needs.
• Cleans driveway, sidewalks and take out trash.
• Keeps an acceptable driving record.
• Drives in a safe courteous manner protecting the dealership and customer belongings.
• Keeps management informed of all schedule changes (including following the Parkway Chevrolet attendance policy).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
