Job summary

Knight Transportation is seeking a dedicated professional to lead and optimize our employee recognition initiatives. You will manage programs from concept through execution, ensuring timely delivery and impactful rewards across the company.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze trends in recognition data, and drive communication materials. The role offers growth within a stable, industry-leading organization, with opportunities for advancement and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in rewards and recognition programs or similar roles.
• Experience in transportation industry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
• Must be able to manage programs from conception to execution and completion.
• Must possess exceptional organizational skills and strong follow-up discipline.
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and collaborate with others.
• Must prioritize deadlines and keep multiple programs moving with attention to detail.
• Must be a strong team player who can partner across departments and hold others accountable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth delivery of company-wide recognition programs to employees.
• Delegate tasks to recognition team members as needed.
• Deliver an excellent recognition experience for all company-sponsored plans (annual rewards, million-mile awards, etc.).
• Develop user-friendly processes for employees to receive and select gifts or awards.
• Advocate with vendors regarding quality of awards, delivery and distribution.
• Maintain recognition database and provide gifts/awards based on service years or achievements.
• Track expenditures and allocate costs to the correct GL.
• Communicate achievements to leadership and guide recognition strategies.
• Explain eligibility criteria and guidelines for recognition programs.
• Collaborate with communications/marketing to produce videos and communications.
• Coordinate nationwide events recognizing drivers and employees.

Job Responsibilities: What you will do

Ensure the smooth delivery of all company wide recognition programs to employees.

• Develop and implement user friendly processes that enable employees to receive and select gift or award.


• Advocate company goals with designated vendors relating to quality of awards, delivery and distribution.


• Ensure recognition database is maintained and provides employees with appropriate gift or award based on years of service, or driver achievement, etc.)


• Track expenditures and ensure cost assigned to correct GL.


• Communicate achievements to leadership and provide guidance on best way to recognize the individual's achievement.


• Adhere to and effectively communicate the recognition program award eligibility criteria and guidelines.


• Collaborate with the communications and marketing team to produce compelling and informative videos and communications.


• Lead efforts to coordinate nationwide events that recognize drivers and employees. (Million Mile Drivers, Driver Appreciation Week, etc).


• Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objective.

Pay Range:

$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 Annual
