Job summary

URBN is seeking a Key Holder for our Arlington, TX store located at 459 E Interstate 20. You will help lead the store team, ensure a welcoming customer experience, and support daily store objectives and product flow.

You will guide associates, assist with leadership tasks, and participate in opening/closing procedures to maintain store standards. This role requires strong communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience required to guide store team.
• Excellent communication to connect with customers and staff.
• Comfortable using a ladder and able to lift and move items up to 50 lbs+.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as store needs.

Responsibilities

• Delivers a seamless shopping experience through understanding of product, pricing strategy, and technology.
• Supports in-store pickup process including loading of furniture into vehicles.

• Provides timely feedback to team and participates in staff development.
• Maintains store cleanliness and ensures pricing and promotions are applied correctly.
• Engages in daily meetings and supports new hire onboarding and zone development.

Role Summary

A Key Holder contributes to creating a customer-centric environment by supporting the store leadership team in excellent customer service, daily store objectives, consistent product flow and leading the team to achieve overall store goals.

Role Responsibilities

Customer Experience

• Initiates conversation with customers as they enter the store and informs them of current promotions
• Contributes to a selling environment by connecting with multiple customers and sharing product information and pricing
• Delivers a seamless shopping experience through understanding of product, pricing strategy, and utilization of technology
• Supports the customer in-store pickup process including loading of furniture into vehicles

Leadership + Team Management

• Leads the store environment and customer experience with managing and adjusting the daily zone chart, driving sales, and maximizing productivity in all store areas
• Acts as an elevated team member, exercising decision-making skills to enhance each customer’s experience
• Provides timely and specific employee feedback to create a culture of action and accountability
• Provides insight on associate performance to the leadership team for development

Visual + Business Operations

• Maintains standards and cleanliness by supporting daily tasks to create the best possible store environment; collaborates with key partners to receive and place new product
• Supports daily opening and closing procedures along with ensuring product pricing and promotions are executed and signed accurately
• Adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store

Communication + Relationships

• Actively participates in daily meetings and takes initiative in teaching and sharing of product knowledge
• Checks in with leadership to maintain communication and teamwork on completing store objectives
• Assists the Associate team in their growth and problem solving; supports new hire onboarding in their orientation and zone development

• Must be comfortable on a ladder and have ability to lift and push more than 50lbs
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays
