Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Waxahachie, TX is seeking a reclaim operator responsible for processing and recycling scrap plastics using reclaim equipment while supporting efficient production operations. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to lift, push, and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to drive a forklift.
• Extrusion experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot extrusion equipment is preferred.
• Mechanically inclined and able to work in a team.
• Experience with extrusion or converting equipment is desired.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively.
• Must wear PPE and stand, stoop, and bend regularly.

Responsibilities

• Remove scrap plastic from gaylords and process through reclaim machinery.
• Set up, operate, and monitor reclaim equipment to meet specifications.
• Ensure efficient use of materials and help reduce waste.
• Unload trailers and stock packaging supplies.
• Maintain ISO 9001:2000 departmental standards.
• Operate a forklift safely to transport scrap material.
• Follow required safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
