Job summary

Buckeye Union School District is seeking a dedicated School Playground Monitor for Rolling Hills Middle School in El Dorado Hills. The role is part-time, with 3 hours per day (10:30–1:30, M–F; Wednesdays 2.5 hours from 10:00–12:30).

You will supervise students during recess, enforce playground rules, and promote safe, positive play. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred experience working with children and CPR/First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor students during recess and outdoor activities.
• Enforce playground rules and safety guidelines to protect students.
• Mediate conflicts and promote positive behavior among students.
• Respond promptly to injuries and provide basic first aid as needed.
• Communicate with teachers and administration about incidents or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean and orderly playground environment.
