Job summary

Tooele County School District is seeking a Vernon Elementary Recess/Classroom/Lunchroom Aide to support K–6 students. Under the principal's supervision, you will provide daily opportunities and structured recess activities, cover lunch duties, and assist teachers in classrooms.

Responsibilities include promoting teamwork, supervising equipment, and responding to student needs. This is a part-time non-exempt role at a high-needs school with a 16-hour weekly schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to carry out written or oral instructions.

Recess/Classroom/Lunchroom Aide - Vernon Elementary

Position Purpose

Under the direct supervision of the building principal, to providedaily opportunities and lessons for structured recess activities for grades K-6.Will also cover lunch durty for grades K-6. This position will require assisitng teachers in the classroom.

Essential Job Functions

• Establishing and reinforcing cooperation and teamwork
• Overseeing safe usage of all equipment

Additional Duties

• Perform any other related duties as assigned.
