Job summary

National Health Care Associates is seeking a receptionist for weekends only at our Westgate location in Bangor, Maine. You will be the first point of contact for residents, families and visitors, providing a warm, professional welcome and handling inquiries with care.

This entry-level role offers exposure to long-term care operations, opportunities to learn, and a supportive team environment where your empathy and strong communication skills are valued.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Previous receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
• Proficient in using office equipment and computer applications.
• Empathy and understanding towards the needs of residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, residents, and families with warmth and professionalism
• Manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and efficiently
• Receives inquires and releases information in accordance with established policies and procedures

As a receptionist, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere within our facility by acting as the first point of contact for all residents, families, and visitors.
