The Office of the District Attorney, Bronx County (“BXDA”) is charged with ensuring public safety and striving for equal justice for over 1.4 million Bronx County residents. BXDA focuses on assisting crime victims and ensuring fairness to defendants, aiming for excellence in representing the Bronx community.

In this role, the Receptionist in the Special Victims Division will greet visitors and answer calls efficiently.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Check IDs and subpoenas of witnesses and walk-ins; direct them to the appropriate staff.
  2. Answer front desk calls and redirect as needed.
  3. Inform Assistant District Attorneys and staff about witness and victim arrivals.
  4. Notify DA about Police Officer witnesses and guide them to waiting areas.
  5. Maintain records of witnesses in the bureau’s logbook.
  6. Coordinate with interpreter staff and assist DAs with interpreter needs.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
