High school diploma or GED required. One year of receptionist experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Two years of college education in Business or Executive Secretarial Science preferred.
Ability to read and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Effectively present information to clients, patients, and team members. Fluent in English; Spanish bilingual required.
Ability to understand and carry out instructions in written, oral, or scheduled form. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Understand processes, define problems, interpret data, and draw valid conclusions. Demonstrate professionalism and organizational responsiveness, develop recommendations, and communicate clearly with all levels of staff and clients.

Working knowledge of Internet, Outlook, and Word. Ability to learn electronic health record software.
Work primarily in a medical or dental office environment with direct contact with patients and clients. Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, walk, climb step stools, sit, and stand for periods. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 25 pounds.
