Job Description: Animal Care Receptionist at Reisterstown Pet Resort & Spa

Reisterstown Pet Resort & Spa is a full-service animal care facility offering lodging, grooming, and daycare located on 7 acres in Reisterstown, MD. We are looking for the right candidate to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all pets arriving and departing for services.
• Maintain the physical aspects required by this position.
• Receive and make calls to clients for scheduling, updates, and services.
• Prioritize multiple tasks calmly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate client and pet records.
• Assist clients with instructions, information, invoices, and scheduling future appointments.
• Use computer systems to document and communicate.
• Manage financial transactions following proper procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Educate clients about grooming, activities, and services to advocate for pets.
• Maintain a positive attitude and show empathy and respect towards clients and pets.

Qualifications:

• Utilize standard office/business equipment.
• Flexible schedule, including Saturdays and some holidays.
• Experience with software preferred.
• Ability to work independently and accept guidance.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good judgment, and stress management.
