Peachford Hospital is the Southeast’s premiere behavioral health and addictive disease treatment facility and has been providing compassionate care to children, adolescents, adults and seniors since 1973. Located in the beautiful Dunwoody neighborhood of Atlanta, Peachford offers inpatient acute care, as well as partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.
The Behavioral Health Receptionist / Switchboard Operator is required to work PRN (On-Call) on weekends and some evenings during the week at the front desk of a busy hospital. The role involves a positive, responsive environment for receiving internal and external customers via telephone and face‑to‑face. The Receptionist is the first person many guests encounter and is responsible for setting a positive first impression as well as managing a high volume of calls and visitors while remaining positive and pleasant.
Receptionists are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:
A high school diploma or GED is required and previous hospital switchboard experience is preferred.
