Atlas Post Acute at Woodbury Country Club in Woodbury, NJ is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors. You will manage calls, coordinate with the Activities department, and support patient relations under supervision.
The role emphasizes courteous service, accurate data entry, and adherence to facility policies. Responsibilities include handling mail, maintaining lists, and ensuring a neat appearance and professional demeanor.

The primary purpose is to provide all personnel and facility contacts with prompt, courteous attention to their requests..
Attends work as schedules and follows community’s call-off procedures.
Maintain an accurate resident census by resident name and room number.
Maintain accurate list of emergency telephone numbers.
Maintain accurate list of reference telephone numbers.
Maintain accurate list of key personnel numbers.
Maintain accurate list of medical staff telephone numbers.
Utilize a word processing software program accurately.
Operate the facility paging system.
Operate the facility telephone system.
Communicate effectively on the telephone and in person.
Be neat, clean and appropriately dressed to present an appearance acceptable to residents and the public.
Receive, sort and distribute mail accurately and timely.
Handle emergency situations in a calm, effective manner.
Follow fire and disaster procedures during a drill and actual occurrence.
Communicate and work cooperatively with all facility staff.
Screen and direct all incoming calls appropriately.
Answer all inquiries according to facility release of information policies and procedures.
Enforce visitation policies and procedures.
Screen all individuals coming into the facility and exercise good judgement in granting entrance.
Handle all correspondence assigned.
Assume accountability for data contained in the employee handbook.
Assume Quality Assurance duties as assigned.
Ensure that department computer workstations left unattended are properly logged off or the password protected screen-saver activates within established facility policy guidelines.
Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
Adheres to all policies and procedures of Spring Hills PASL, LLC.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school education or its equivalent. Associates Degree preferred but not required. Experience in Customer Service in the healthcare setting preferred.
