Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers in Ohio is seeking a Part Time Receptionist - Healthcare to handle front-desk tasks, patient intakes, and clerical duties in a busy outpatient setting.

The role requires strong customer service, basic PC skills, and the ability to work with clinicians and patients, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1-year prior experience in an office setting.
• Excellent customer service and professional public presentation including telephone etiquette.
• Proficient in basic PC skills; Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions and work with patients and staff.
• Maintain routine records and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
• Flexible and cooperative; satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones, forwarding calls, managing mail flow, data entry, reconcile daily money collected, and inventory control.
• Assist Medical Director/Program Physician/Nurse Practitioner with patient intakes including scheduling, check in, insurance verification and follow-up calls.
• Assist in obtaining patient histories from other NTPs, building blank patient files for new admissions, archiving discharged files, and prepares and maintains reports and records.
• Office maintenance - clean children's play area, disinfect and clean lab area, clean coffee/beverage area.
• If applicable - facilitate specimen collection from patients, deliver to lab, file results and distribute to counselors
• Other duties, as assigned.
