McFarland Clinic in Ames, IA is seeking a friendly Receptionist to manage the front desk and support patients daily. Greet patients and visitors, schedule appointments, and guide them to the appropriate areas, all while upholding our Core Values and Promise. A High School diploma is required; one year of medical office experience is preferred.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour. Completion of Medical Terminology within one year of employment is expected, with a comprehensive benefits package

Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Receptionist for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: maintaining reception desk activities, including greeting, scheduling, and instructing of patients and visitors in accordance with McFarland Clinic’s Core Values and Promise.

Education

• High School Diploma, GED or HiSET.

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience

• Prefer one year work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Keyboard and computer experience.
• Completion of Medical Terminology class required within one year of employment.
• Receptionist experience preferred, but not required.

Starting pay: $16.00
