Apple Valley Villa Receptionist/Caregiver

Apple Valley Villa, a Cassia community, is hiring a Receptionist/Caregiver to join our team in Apple Valley, MN. This role requires compassion and commitment to quality care. As a Receptionist you will cover the front desk as needed, greet visitors, answer and route phone calls, and help with administrative tasks. As a Caregiver, you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with Activities of Daily Living such as showering, bathing, shampooing, and medication administration, while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being. Caregivers will also be responsible for medication passage. We seek candidates who are passionate about working with seniors and who can multitask, assist with administrative support, and remain friendly and professional at all times.

Job Details

Position Type: Part-Time, working weekdays and every other weekend and every other holiday

Shift Available: Float evenings 2:45 PM–11:15 PM

Wage Range: $17–$20 / hour, depending on experience

Location: 14610 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care and services to our residents
• Administer medications to residents as needed
• Communicate any resident concerns with licensed nursing staff
• Assist in resident emergencies
• Answer and transfer incoming phone calls as needed
• Manage phone communications coming into the facility.
• Greet visitors and guests professionally, warmly and determine their nature and purpose of visit.
• Direct and/or accompany visitors and guest to appropriate destination.
• Perform various typing assignments and miscellaneous clerical duties for all departments as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as requested.

Qualifications

• HHA, PCA or CNA experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent with previous customer service or reception experience.
• Proficient computer skills.
