Humana Inc. is seeking a patient-facing Front Desk/Clinic Support role in Orange City, FL. The position handles patient check-in, scheduling, and insurance verification in a busy TB screening clinic as part of Humana’s care network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; healthcare experience preferred.
• 1 year+ experience in healthcare or strong customer service background.

• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette; high-volume clinic environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude; able to multitask.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong Customer Service background in Retail Hospitality, Call Centers, etc.

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and care

Excellent customer service and phone etiquette; the Clinic is very busy, must be comfortable with high volume calls

Team player with a positive attitude

Must be able to handle high demand, high paced, multi-tasking, task heavy, patient facing role

Attention to detail and highly organized

Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. We require TB screening upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in primary care setting
• Value-based care model experience
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Experience in EMR systems such as E-Clinical Works, Epic, Athena Health, and/or NextGen.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
