Otterbein SeniorLife in Tipp City, Ohio, is seeking a compassionate Part-time Receptionist to greet visitors and handle calls with hospitality and professionalism. The role supports residents and families, responding to inquiries and directing them appropriately.

The position offers a part‑time schedule (3:30p-6:30p, with 6-9 hours during the week and every other weekend 10a-3p). Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred and prior customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year preferred.
• Ability to be self‑directed and prioritize tasks, working independently and managing time efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and leaving the community, using customer name whenever possible.
• Answer customer calls and direct them appropriately.
• Handle all customer interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
• Maintain current file/listing of residents by name and location, emergency phone numbers of on‑call personnel, department extensions.
