Job summary

Cancer Care Northwest is seeking a full-time receptionist to warmly greet patients and visitors, collect demographics and insurance data, and handle payments at the point of service. The role supports the clinic’s smooth daily operations and patient flow in Spokane, WA.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma and Office experience; medical office experience is preferred to assist with charting and scheduling duties.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of office experience.
  • Prefer prior medical office experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Collect demographic and insurance information; obtain co-pays and other payments at the time of visit as instructed by the financial counselor.
  • Perform end-of-day financial close out and ensure lobby area is neat and orderly.

Cancer Care Northwest is hiring a fulltime receptionist to greet patients and visitors into the clinic in a prompt, courteous and professional manner. Obtains all appropriate forms, demographic, insurance information. Collects co-pays, deductible and other out of pocket amounts at time of visit based on instruction provided by the financial counselor. Performs end-of-day financial close out. Maintains lobby area in a neat and orderly manner.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications:

  • a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree
  • three (3) years' office experience

It is preferred an individual have:

  • previous medical office experience
