CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Receptionist to manage front desk operations in a healthcare setting while delivering excellent customer service to patients and visitors. You will support scheduling, records, and various administrative tasks to help ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling, record maintenance in EMR/CRM, billing support, and coordinating with medical staff.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
  • Experience in healthcare preferred, strong customer service background acceptable.
  • Excellent customer service and phone etiquette essential.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain patient records in EMR and CRM systems with accuracy.
  • Handle billing and copay collection as applicable.

As Receptionist, you will manage front desk operations in a healthcare setting while delivering excellent customer service to patients and visitors. You will support patient scheduling, communication, record maintenance, and several administrative tasks to help ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet Patients: Welcome patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.
  • Schedule Appointments: Manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to improve schedules.
  • Patient Records: Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy. Work in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Billing and Payments: Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly. May include collecting copay at time of visit.
  • Inquiries and Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general information.
  • Office Management: Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
  • Administrative Support: Help with other administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies, managing office inventory, and sending courier packages.
Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong Customer Service background in Retail Hospitality, Call Centers, etc.
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and care

  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and highly organized
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Value-based care model experience
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
Additional Information

This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$38,000 - $45,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
