Job summary

Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Hub Receptionist in Normal, IL to greet guests, answer calls, and present a professional image of the company.

You will direct calls, take messages, assist visitors, open/close lobby, and support walk-in customers while maintaining a clean, organized front office. Requires strong communication and multi-tasking with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Direct all incoming calls to the correct department or individual.
• Take messages for appropriate department or individual as needed.
• Greet and assist visitors and applicants in a professional and friendly manner.
• Open and close the front lobby.
• Assist with customers at the walk-in counter.
• Sort and file various paperwork for departments.
• Light cleaning duties of the front lobby and office areas to keep a clean and neat appearance.
• Update the phone directory as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years have expanded throughout the Midwest.

Job Summary

The Hub Receptionist will answer incoming calls, greet guests and applicants, and portray a professional image of the company to the general public.

Hours and Wages

• Monday-Friday, 10:00AM-3:00PM shift
• $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience

Duties And Responsibilities

• Direct all incoming calls to the correct department or individual
• Take messages for appropriate department or individual as needed
• Greet and assist visitors and applicants in a professional and friendly manner
• Open and close the front lobby
• Assist with customers at the walk-in counter

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
