Location: Mt. Vernon, IL
Essential Functions:
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role is preferred. Additional training in office skills preferred. Must demonstrate excellent customer service with strong attention to detail, including ability to work with numbers/statistics. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities and strong interpersonal skills. Must provide timely responses to requests from supervisor, staff, and external inquiries.
To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform the essential duties listed in the job description. The role requires talking or hearing, frequent sitting, and occasional standing, walking, and use of hands and fingers to handle objects or controls. Capable of operating standard office equipment, including a computer and keyboard, calculator, fax machine, and copier. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-30 pounds. Requires valid driver’s license and auto insurance and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle. The work environment typical is low to moderate noise.

Safety and Agency Resource Utilization: Demonstrates sound judgment in safety and daily work. Notifies supervisors of incidents or issues. Reports suspicions of abuse promptly. Ensures appropriate use of materials and resources and minimizes waste.
