Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a professional, customer service-oriented Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and callers, the Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. The Receptionist will manage a multi-line telephone system, direct calls appropriately, greet and assist visitors, and ensure secure access to the facility. Additional responsibilities include coordinating taxi requests, processing mail and UPS shipments, routing discharge documentation, and maintaining reception-related records and logs. The Receptionist also supports patient and visitor screening processes by maintaining patient/case manager logs and youth visitor lists to ensure compliance with facility procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and committed to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Consistently answers and routes incoming calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Files daily visitor logs and patient visitor sign-in records.
  • Receives, distributes, and tracks incoming mail, UPS, FedEx, and other deliveries; promptly notifies departments of deliveries.
  • Processes outgoing mail and shipments, applies postage, and maintains postage usage logs.
  • Ensures proper payroll check pick-up procedures are followed.
  • Accurately tracks and records transports and walk-in traffic to support operational monitoring.
  • Completes, distributes, and files patient belongings documentation in a timely manner.
  • Assists with inquiry calls and coordinates ambulance and walk-in admissions processes.
  • Routes discharge paperwork and processes bed change notifications appropriately.
  • Manages and monitors incoming calls during designated patient phone hours.
  • Manage visitors during patient visits, therapy sessions or discharge.
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.

Qualifications
Requirements:

  • Must successfully complete RQI BLS training and obtain required certification.
