Horizon Health Corporation seeks a full-time Receptionist in Grand Forks, ND to support the Altru Behavioral Health Center. The role uses a multi-line phone system to direct calls, greet visitors, manage sign-in, and ensure smooth front-desk operations within a new 24-bed inpatient unit.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, 0–1 year of experience, and strong communication and organizational skills. Training and growth opportunities are available across UHS subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Experience with a multi-line phone system is preferred.
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming telephone calls and forwards to the appropriate personnel.
• Welcomes visitors, manages sign-in, issues badges, and notifies relevant staff.
• Screens building access using the door monitoring system where applicable.
• Assists other departments with projects as time permits.
• Safety monitoring of patients.

Receptionist (Full-time) – Grand Forks, ND

Horizon Health Corporation is seeking a Receptionist for or our BRAND-NEW unit called Altru Behavioral Health Center in Grand Forks, ND. This unit will be a 24-bed inpatient unit for both adult and pediatric patients. We are also planning to expand to an additional 24 beds in 2026. Altru Health System and Universal Health Services are working together in expanding inpatient behavioral health services. Utilizing multi-line telephone system, the Receptionist, answers and directs all incoming calls to appropriate personnel in a professional and timely manner. The receptionist also monitors the lobby and greets visitors

Responsibilities:

• Answers incoming telephone calls; forward calls to appropriate personnel/department in a professional, timely manner.
• Welcomes on-site visitors, maintain sign in log, issue visitor name badges and announce visitor to appropriate personnel/department.
• Screens building access using the electronic door monitoring system if applicable.
• Assists other departments with projects as time permits.
• Safety Monitoring of patients
• Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.
