Job summary

Genesis is seeking a receptionist for our nursing center on a 12-hour rotation 7AM–7PM, every other weekend. Bring your administrative skills and winning personality to be the first point of contact for patients, residents, families, candidates and clients.

You will answer calls, greet visitors, manage mail, keep patient/resident lists, and assist with clerical duties. Must have high school diploma, strong English, and proficiency with Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and well-being of patients and visitors and respond to needs.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Proficient with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls professionally and courteously and redirect them appropriately.
• Warmly welcome, greet and direct patients, visitors, and guests.
• Coordinate outgoing and incoming mail.
• Maintain current lists of patients/residents by name/room number and employees by names/phone extension.
• Order supplies and performs other clerical duties as assigned.
