Job summary

Everflow Supplies is seeking a Receiving Laborer in Carteret, NJ. The role involves assisting with receipt, inspection, unloading, labeling, and organizing incoming shipments while maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, verifying quantities, labeling merchandise, and aiding inventory counts. Prior warehouse experience is preferred; forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus. Flexible to overtime, including weekends when needed.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse or receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to read and understand shipping/receiving documents.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
• Inspect incoming products for damage or discrepancies.
• Verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Label and identify received merchandise accurately.
• Move products to storage locations using pallet jacks or carts.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycling counts as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized receiving areas and follow safety policies.
