Job summary

Sonepar USA Inc. seeks a Warehouse Associate in Portland, OR, for a 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM shift. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, organized warehouse, accurate order filling, and safe forklift operation. You will support loading/offloading freight and perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates are accurate, proactive, team‑oriented, with safety awareness and a willingness to learn handheld RF scanners and warehouse systems. On‑site attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT).
• Pro‑active and self‑motivated mindset.
• Willing to learn from mistakes to increase productivity and accuracy.
• Requires punctual regular and reliable on‑site attendance.
• Ability to learn use of handheld (RF) scanners and operating systems.
• Good oral & written communication skills.
• Team oriented.
• Safety aware and oriented.
• Desire to learn and grow in responsibilities.
• Solid written & oral communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Able to learn to use a forklift and other general warehouse equipment.
• Completing EDGE in the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Order filling, including wire cutting & pipe order filling.
• Safe forklift/equipment usage.
• Commitment to One Item, One Bin and Just Face It! best practices.
• Assisting with loading/offloading freight or delivery trucks.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned.
