Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring for a Day Shift position to oversee the receiving dock, inspect and verify incoming materials, and coordinate storage and data entry. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient flow of product through the production process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months of warehouse/distribution experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly during shift.
• Ability to lift 10–35 pounds, up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and report hazards immediately.
• Review schedule, perform safety checks, and prepare for operations.
• Put on required PPE and safety gear.
• Meet productivity/accuracy standards for location guidelines.
• Open loading dock doors and prepare area to receive products.

Education

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience

Tools

Pallet jack forklift certified

OSHA Forklift operator certificate
