Job summary

Empire Livestock LLC. is hiring a detail‑oriented Receiver to join our intake team in Texas. You will handle incoming raw milk and cream shipments, verify weights and temperatures, and collect precise samples while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

You will work in a clean, fast-paced environment and be a key member of a supportive team dedicated to quality and food safety. Position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or license may be required during course of employment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Perform CIP on each tanker and silo with proper documentation.
• Gather samples of raw milk from tanker for testing.
• Weigh tanker on scales and verify temperature; record weight and temp readings.
• Report food safety/quality issues to management immediately.
• Maintain safe working conditions and compliance with health/safety regulations.
• Follow DFA GMPs and regulatory/sanitation requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform CIP on each tanker and silo while maintaining proper documentation of each process

Gather samples of raw milk from tanker for testing of product

Weigh tanker on scales. Check to ensure proper temperature of milk and record weight and temperature reading

Report any food safety and food qualit y related issues to management immediately

Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corpo rate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Production or general work experienced preferred

Able to legibly write entries for record keeping
