Empire Livestock LLC. is seeking a dairy processing operator responsible for pumping incoming raw milk/cream from tanker trucks into storage tanks and maintaining accurate volume records with a strong focus on product quality.

The role requires following CIP procedures, collecting samples for testing, and logging temperatures and weights. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, read and write legibly, and communicate in English.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and carry out instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsabilidades

• Pump incoming raw milk or cream from tanker into storage tanks.
• Document and record volume into inventory with emphasis on product quality.

Perform all duties related to the pumping of incoming raw milk or cream from the tanker trucks into the proper storage tanks. Document and record volume into inventory with a heavy emphasis on quality of product being received.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform CIP on each tanker and silo while maintaining proper documentation of each process
• Gather samples of raw milk from tanker for testing of product
• Weigh tanker on scales. Check to ensure proper temperature of milk and record weight and temperature reading
• Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
• Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
• Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Production or general work experienced preferred
