Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area and freight flow to the sales floor. You will maintain back stock, ensure accurate processing, and manage damaged goods to protect profit. This role requires directing associates and serving as Manager on Duty as scheduled.

You’ll drive safety, pricing accuracy, and visual merchandising standards while coordinating with the store team to deliver great customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months’ retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise and delegate tasks effectively.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and department standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan unload and merchandise distribution shipments to the sales floor.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise direct vendor shipments.
• Manage freight flow in receiving and keep area orderly.
• Maintain safety and operating conditions in the receiving area.
• Verify pricing accuracy and report discrepancies.
• Prepare transfers and returns of merchandise or fixtures.
• Confirm incoming merchandise accuracy.
• Set up and design merchandise displays.
• Meet customer service standards and assist customers.
• Direct work of other associates in freight flow.
• Act as Manager on Duty as scheduled.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
