Job summary

Ollie is seeking a Receiving Team Leader for Store 177 in Mableton, GA. You will oversee the receiving area, ensure accurate freight flow to the sales floor, maintain back stock, and minimize profit loss from damaged goods.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, verifying direct vendor shipments, coordinating displays, processing outbound transfers, guiding associates, and acting as Manager on Duty including opening and closing duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks while working within strict timeframes and deadlines.

• Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments of merchandise.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage effective freight flow in the receiving area while maintaining equipment and a safe, orderly dock and exterior.
• Adhere to company standards confirm the accuracy of all incoming merchandise and set up and design merchandise displays.
• Prepare and process outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures as required.
• Direct the work of other Associates who are assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and complete any additional responsibilities as assigned including opening and closing of the store.

Position Overview:

The Receiving Team Leader oversees the efficient operation and maintenance of the receiving area as outlined in the company receiving area plan. Responsibilities include the accurate, efficient, and timely execution of freight flow to the sales floor in accordance with established processing and visual merchandising standards. Maintain back stock in the receiving area and manage the disposition of damaged goods to minimize profit loss.
