Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Gloucester, VA is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area and ensure efficient freight flow to the sales floor according to plan.

You will maintain back stock, manage damaged goods disposition, and lead a team to support merchandising standards while upholding safety and accuracy. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks under tight deadlines.
• Positive attitude and strong customer/associate interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage freight flow in the receiving area while maintaining equipment and a safe dock.
• Adhere to standards, confirm accuracy of incoming merchandise and set up merchandise displays.
• Prepare outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures.
• Direct the work of other Associates assisting with freight flow.
• Act as Manager on Duty and open/close the store as assigned.
