Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Manassas, VA is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee efficient operation of the receiving area and to ensure timely freight flow to the sales floor in line with company standards.

You will maintain back stock, manage damaged goods disposition, and supervise associates to support merchandising and transfers while upholding safety and visual standards. The role requires flexibility for early shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks while working within strict timeframes and deadlines.
• Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments of merchandise.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage effective freight flow in the receiving area while maintaining equipment and a safe, orderly dock and exterior.
• Direct the work of other Associates who are assisting with freight flow processes.
