Job summary

Ollie's Stores in Cary, NC seeks a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area, ensuring efficient freight flow and accurate merchandising to the sales floor. You will maintain back stock, manage damaged goods, and support store operations with a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities include directing associates, ensuring safety, and acting as Manager on Duty during openings and closings. 6 months retail experience preferred; strong organization and communication needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months+ experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility: mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to organize, delegate tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude with strong customer and associate interactions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support merchandising of shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage freight flow in the receiving area and maintain dock safety.
• Direct the work of associates assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and handle opening/closing duties.
