Job summary

Corporate Resources of Illinois, Ltd. is seeking a dependable Receiving Supervisor to oversee our Shipping & Receiving department. You will ensure all incoming products are received accurately, stored properly, and entered in the ERP system.

You will lead up to 15 reps, train staff on procedures, develop SOPs, and maintain FIFO inventory, while coordinating inbound/outbound shipments and ensuring safety. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of shipping/receiving experience, 1–2 years in a leadership

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of shipping and receiving experience.
• 1–2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the receiving, inspection, and inventory of all incoming materials in both the warehouse and ERP system.
• Supervise up to 15 reps, train, and mentor receiving associates on company procedures, inventory control, how to handle repairs and returns.
• Create standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to create efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices.
• Receive shipments from vendors and carriers including UPS and FedEx.
• Reconcile invoices, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Coordinate and schedule inbound deliveries and outbound freight shipments.
• Prepare shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs), manifests, and related paperwork.
• Perform routine cycle counts and assist with bi-annual physical inventories.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards.

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Receiving Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Shipping & Receiving department. This role is responsible for ensuring all incoming products are accurately received, properly stored, and maintained within our warehouse and ERP system. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is committed to operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and workplace safety.
